6) Tighten the bolts to the specified torque in the numbered
order in two or three steps.

TORQUE:
8 x 75 mm/8 x 35 mm flange bolt:
26.5 N . m (2.7 kgf . m, 20 lbf . ft)

8 x 55 mm hex bolt: 21.5 N . m (2.2 kgf . m, 16 lbf . ft)

• Do not confuse the bolts on assembly.

7) Loosen the 6 x 12 mm flange bolt that secures the power tilt

switch stay [Power trim/tilt type only].
Tighten the 6 x 12 mm flange bolt again while pushing the
14
projection of the power tilt switch stay against the engine
under case [Power trim/tilt type only].

8) Install the power tilt switch 3P connector on the harness
16 clip bracket A and connect the connector [Power trim/tilt
type only].
