Menu Buttons
The matrix of menu buttons are organized into a multi level tree structure of pages that are very easy to
navigate. To assist in rapid navigation all menu pages have a HOME button at the bottom right and most
operations only require navigating down one level.
Joystick and M/E Pattern and Key Buttons
You can use the joystick to quickly control keys and transitions by selecting the button corresponding to the
M/E you are using and the parameter you wish to adjust.
M/E PATT
By selecting the M/E 1 PATT or M/E 2 PATT button, you can quickly get joystick control over size and the
horizontal and vertical aspects of your selected transition.
M/E KEY
M/E KEY: You can quickly move and resize upstream keys by selecting this button in the desired M/E when
the KEY button is selected in the System Control Block of buttons.
Joystick and Numeric Keypad
The Number Pad is used to enter numerical data. For example, when setting the transition rate, the number
pad can be used to enter a numerical value. When entering data using the number pad, the soft buttons
below each parameter are used to apply the entered data to that parameter.
The joystick and numeric keypad are shared between the M/E 1 and M/E 2 control blocks. They are context-
sensitive which means any adjustments you make with them will solely be applied to the M/E control block
in which you are currently working.
