Button assignment when on-screen display is active
When on-screen display is active, the buttons can be used to navigate the
menu, until the on-screen display function is left.
Short press of button

Display of faults
If the functionality of the device is restricted, faults are displayed in the
top left area of the screen.
If one of the faults described below occurs, the main menu closes auto-
matically and it cannot be accessed while the fault persists.
Existing settings, an activated effect for example, cannot be deactivated
or undone while the fault persists.

When the on-screen keyboard is active, the buttons can be used to navi-
gate on the keyboard, until the on-screen keyboard function is exited.

The device features an internal
temperature sensor.
The camera control unit is not
connected or is not connected to a
compatible light source.
During activation or deactivation
of the AUTO luminance control
using the menu, the light source
OP950 is not properly connected
or not switched on.
In case of a malfunction of the
device, the connected monitor no
longer displays an image.

Remedy
Check ventilation slits on the bottom of
the device.
Set up the device so that sufficient venti-
lation is guaranteed.
If the message appears repeatedly: contact
your B. Braun/Aesculap partner or
Aesculap Technical Service.
Check MIS bus connection between the
camera and light source.
If the message appears despite correctly
connected OP950: contact your
B. Braun/Aesculap partner or Aesculap
Technical Service.
Check MIS bus connection between the
camera and light source.
Switch on the light source.
Activate or deactivate the AUTO luminance
control using the menu.
Restart the device.
If the message appears repeatedly: contact
your B. Braun/Aesculap partner or
Aesculap Technical Service.
