These failures are also resettable by turning off and turning back on or by logic input (parameter rSF of menu FLt).

Probable Cause
Interruption of the communication on
the CANopen network.
Depends on user.
Loss of reference 4-20 mA at AI3
input.
Braking too hard or traction load.
Temperature too high on converter.
Turning off due to motor current too
high.
A phase wire is lacking at
converter's output.
Upstream contactor open.
Motor not connected or power too
low.
Instantaneous instabilities of motor's
current.
Voltage on network is too high.
Disturbed network.
Converter is poorly powered or a
fuse is burnt.
Lack of a phase wire.
Use of an ATV32 three-phase on a
single-phase network
Unbalanced load. This protection
works only with a load.
Interruption of communication on the
Modbus network.

Solution
Check the communication network.
Check specific documentation.
Depends on user.
Check the connection at the AI3
input.
Increase the deceleration time.
Add a braking resistance if
necessary.
Add a brA function if compatible with
the application.
Check the motor's load, ventilation
of converter, and environmental
conditions. Wait for cool down to
restart.
Check the ItH adjustment of the
motor's thermal protection, control
motor's load. Wait for cool down to
restart.
Check converter's connections to
motor.
In the case of using an upstream
contactor, configure OPL to OAC
(FLt menu).
Test on power motor too low or
without motor: in factory adjustment,
the detection of the motor's loss of
phase is active (OPL = YES). To
check the converter in a testing or
maintenance environment and
without the need of an equivalent
motor at the calibration of the
converter (especially for the high
power converters), disarm the
detection of loss of motor phase
(OPL = no).
Check and optimize the parameters
UFr, UnS, and nCr and make a
readjustment under tUn.
Check network voltage.
Check the power connections and
fuses.
Reset.
Use a three-phase network.
Eliminate the failure by IPL = nO
(menu FLt).
Check the communication network.
Check specific documentation.
